My sci-fi story As Water, Leaf and Stone, I Wait for You is out today as an audio original in the Folded Space podcast.
Description: Scientist Alma, catapulted into a distant future by an experiment gone wrong, will do anything to find some way back to her daughter Mari—even if it means playing chess with a sentient planet.
Folded Space
The story makes up episode 5 of their first season of Folded Space, joining some great stories that I’ve been listening along to in other episodes. I love what they’re doing with these limited seasons. It gives the feeling of a curated anthology, and I’m looking forward to seeing where editor Seth Williams takes this in future.
